Our Meat Group produces high-quality prepared meats and value-added fresh pork, chicken and turkey products. These operations are located exclusively in Canada with the majority of sales to customers in Canada, the United States and Asia. We currently operate:

• 2 distribution centres
• 13 prepared meats facilities
• 2 fresh pork facilities
• 4 fresh poultry facilities
• 3 poultry hatcheries

Maple Leaf pork has a rich, mellow taste that provides a premium profile. The sweet flavour fat enhances appetite appeal. Our products are developed specifically to meet specifications in the Japanese market. We achieve this by developing hogs that have a higher fat saturation and therefore a firmer texture and tenderness. Our products achieve an ideal tensile strength of four.
